设计提炼出蒲苇、渔舟、夕阳等重要元素，以一种抽象的方式重塑了传统渔民的生活场景，还原乌龙古渔村历史上作为滇池八景的渔浦星灯、捕鱼归来的场景，希望重现原住民家园记忆，希望乌龙村迁走的村民可以回来回忆旧时的生活场景，感受昆明当地的历史底蕴和文化风俗。
扁舟一叶，长篙渡泊！
设计中，入园的三层木平台寓意渔村码头，渔民们由此出发，开始起航。船型建筑的意象不仅和卧龙村当地的渔业传统呼应，还代表着这是一个承载着人们信念和梦想的容器，将人们带往诗和远方。倾斜带弧度的坐板在抽象出船体造型的同时，也是为了引导人们可以朝向建筑中央以一个倚靠的姿势舒适的坐在上面，使得这个空间具有向心的社交行为力。象征乡土文化中的人际关系。
植物选择上考虑到场地后原有建筑的色调，多选择饱和度低的植物，在船型构筑下铺设瓜子石，营造水的意境，种植蒲苇让整个场地更加的灵动，使得小船浮波的景象更加生动活泼，让人更容易产生对渔船的联想。
