纹章是一种规范的和象征性的语言，用于描述盾形徽章（或武器标志）、专属一个国家的象征、一个城市或一个集团。它是团结和认可的标志。它存在于世界上每个国家，并被所有社群使用。我将纹章的象征意义转化到滇池的动植物群，作为对生态的承诺和团结的标志，上有代表着能让生态复原、并参与延续生命周期的植物和动物：海鸟、鱼类、绿植、花卉、食用和药用菌类。海晏村里的绣娘在旗子上绣上标志和图形，与少民的手工艺品，尤其是传统服装的饰纹产生联系。
A blazon is a coded and symbolic language used to describe coat of arms, or an emblem of a country, of a city or a group. It is a symbol of unity and recognition. It exists in every country in the world and is used by all communities. I transferred the symbolic significance of the blazon to the flora and fauna of Dianchi as a symbol of commitment and unity for the ecology. There are some representing plants and animals which enable the ecological resilience and take part in the perpetuation of life cycle: seabirds, fish, plants, flowers, edible and medicinal mushrooms. The flags are adorned with symbols and shapes sewn by the embroiderers in Haiyan village, that is associated with the ethnic handicrafts, especially the decoration of traditional clothing.

Laurence Broydé毕业于法国奥尔良艺术与设计学院平面设计专业，后在斯特拉斯堡莱茵高等美术学校学习插画。她是法国南部比利牛斯地区当代艺术收藏基金的干预主义艺术家，也是有多年教学经验的平面设计教师，获得多项创作奖金或资助，并参与海内外的驻地研究，在多媒介艺术、设计、工艺和平面设计等多方面中综合进行。

Laurence Broydé graduated from ESAD (School of Art and Design) Graphic Design in Orleans and received illustration training at Arts HIgh School of the Rhine (HEAR). She is an intervening artist of FRAC (Regional Contemporary Art Fund) Midi Pyrénées, also a graphic design teacher for many years. She receives several grants of creation supports, and resides in France and abroad for art research. Her researches involve Mediums art, design, craftsmanship, and graphic design.
