Song Yuefeng、Chen Bingyi | The Disappearing
中国 China

No matter if it is a species, or a culture, it appears, it evolves, it flourishes, then it disappears. Standing in Haiyan Village, I watch at the left cultural traces, and the list of endemic species which disappeared recently: Anabarilius macrolepis, Yilong-lakecarp, Cynops wolterstorffi ...... the figures of these species that disappeared in Yunnan recently, will be reproduced with the local traditional cultural elements. They were once here, the now disappeared, yet we shall never forget.

With the digital media, the images will be projected onto the interior walls of an old building - the disappeared beauty and the reappearing creation, dancing, waving goodbye.
