小蝌蚪，有形而又无形，是万物生命之源。生息于沼泽、湿地、臭水塘，游历成长在江湖、大地、蓝天之上；从贱草、鲜花、参天大树到荒原、魔窟、城市高楼；从褐色的粪土、黄红的果园，黑沉沉的地心、到金色的塔尖、紫色的城墙，深蓝的大海——朝夕无息地流动在赤橙黄绿青蓝紫的血管里，无处不在。

Little tadpoles have form and yet are formless. They are the origin of all things. They live and die in marshes, wetlands, and ditches, grow in the rivers and lakes, in the land, in the blue sky, from the lowly grasses to the flowers, the towering trees, the vast wastelands, caves, and urban towers, from the brown manure to the yellow orchards, the deep, dark heart of the earth, the golden pyramids, the purple city walls, the deep blue seas. They endlessly flow through blood vessels red and orange and green and blue and purple. They are everywhere.

出生在云南弥勒的艺术家罗旭一生充满传奇，创作领域非常广泛，涉及雕塑、装置、绘画、书法、建筑等门类，艺术灵感来源于在七彩云南大地上丰富有趣的生活经历以及历经岁月打磨的生命体验。多年来，罗旭在有限的时间里不断拓展空间的可能，相继设计了包括“土著巢”（昆明 1996年）、“东风韵”（弥勒 2014年）及“蚁工坊”（云南建水 2016年）在内的不同建筑作品。

Artist Luo Xu, born in Mi’le, Yunnan Province, has led a legendary life, and has an extremely broad creative range, touching on sculpture, installation, painting, calligraphy, and architecture, drawing inspiration from his rich lived experiences in the magical land of Yunnan. Over the years, Luo Xu has worked within limited time to expand the possibilities of space, designing the architectural artworks “Earth Nest” (Kunming, 1996), Dongfengyun (Mi’le, 2014), and the Ant Factory (Jianshui, 2016).
