The artwork Fish uses the image of a bathing fish to symbolize aspirations for a better natural environment. The subject matter echoes the name of the Laoyuhe Wetland Park, which translates to “fishing river.” XXX Placed in the wetland, the artwork fuses with the surrounding environment, offsetting the dark, mysterious atmosphere of the sequoia groves.
