这是一件深刻反映人类纪和后技术时代的装置艺术作品。作品主要由钢制的消波块模具、水泥砖块基座和诱鱼灯构成,这些元素都是现代工业和科技的产物。整体造型如同一个外星人或科幻电影中异形生物的胸像。当诱鱼灯点亮,日出的轮廓和弯月的光环逐渐显现,仿佛是一种对天文和自然现象的模仿或替代。这不仅强调了技术对自然的影响,也暗示了在后技术时代,人类可能更倾向于通过科技手段来重新解释和重构自然现象和精神信仰,而不是去直接体验和理解它们。作品以一种近乎科幻的视角,呈现出人类纪下的科技和自然界、物质与精神之间复杂而微妙的张力。


This installation artwork is a profound reflection on the Anthropocene and the post-technological age. The artwork is composed of steel molds for wave-dissipating blocks, a pedestal made from cement bricks, and fishing lure lights. These elements are all products of modern industry and technology. The form resembles a bust of an alien or mutant organism from a science fiction film. When the fishing lure light is lit, silhouettes of a rising sun and crescent moon appear, seemingly imitating and replacing celestial and natural phenomena. This emphasizes technology’s impact on nature while also alluding to the ways in which humans in the post-technological age rely on technological means to reinterpret and reconstruct natural phenomena and spiritual beliefs, rather than directly experiencing and understanding them. The artwork uses a science fiction perspective to reveal the subtle tensions between technology and nature, matter and spirit in the Anthropocene.


1993年出生于浙江温州,2015年毕业于中国美术学院公共艺术系,2018年毕业于英国皇家艺术学院雕塑系。冯至炫的作品通过非虚构的材料层次引起文化共振,使用日常肌理中的隐藏物料进行造史行动。文化元素从高度个性化的材料形态中透露出来,在历史和即兴的叙事中转换,创造出超越单一时期和具体位置的游牧群岛文明。他的雕塑装置总是表现出一种张力,将神话、装潢、探险及太空想象等元素动态融合,材料对他来说是文化的粘合剂,也是对抗过的结果。


Feng Zhixuan was born in 1993 in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from the China Academy of Art Public Art Department in 2015, and the Royal College of Art Sculpture Department in 2018. Feng Zhixuan's works evoke cultural resonance through the layering of non-fictional materials, employing materials hidden in the textures of the everyday to engage in the act of history creation. Cultural elements are revealed through highly individualized material forms, with a pastoral archipelago civilization transcending singular time and specific place emerging through the interchange between history and extemporaneous narrative. His sculptural installations often convey a tension in the dynamic fusion between mythology, ornamentation, exploration, and cosmic imaginings. For him, material is the binding agent of culture, and the result of resistance.
